Return and Refund Policy

At Rentstylo, every outfit has a story, and we understand that plans can sometimes shift. This Return and Refund Policy explain how returns, refunds, and related requests are handled on our dress rental platform. It is written to be clear, practical, and aligned with the expectations of customers in Singapore, while respecting the principles of the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Rental Acceptance and Delivery Review

All dresses rented from Rentstylo are cautiously checked before dispatch. We request that you review the outfit at the time of delivery. If you notice visible issues such as incorrect sizing, a different item than selected, or noticeable damage, please inform the delivery partner immediately and contact us within 24 hours. Prompt communication helps us assess the situation fairly and quickly.

Eligibility for Returns

Returns are accepted only in specific situations. These include receiving the wrong outfit, receiving an item that does not match the confirmed order, or receiving an item with visible damage that was not disclosed earlier. Items must remain unused, unaltered, and returned with original tags and packaging.

Returns are not accepted for reasons related to personal preference, styling expectations, or fit discomfort after use. Since rentals are time-sensitive and shared among customers, once an outfit has been worn, it cannot be returned.

Refund Method and Process

Rentstylo accepts Cash on Delivery (COD) as the only mode at checkout. If a return request is approved, refunds are issued exclusively through bank transfers. To process this, we may request limited details needed to complete the transfer. Any such information is used only for this purpose and handled in line with the PDPA.

Once a return is approved and the item reaches us in acceptable condition, the refund process begins. While timelines may vary depending on banking procedures, we aim to complete the process as smoothly as possible and keep you informed throughout.

Non-Returnable Situations

Returns or refunds are not available if:

The return request is raised after the allowed reporting window.

The outfit shows signs of wear, alteration, or misuse.

Tags or original packaging are missing.

Delays occur due to incorrect delivery details provided by the customer.

Personal Data and Privacy

During the return or refund process, Rentstylo may collect limited personal information to verify your request and complete bank transfers. This information is handled responsibly and in accordance with Singapore’s PDPA. We do not retain unnecessary details beyond what is required for operational and legal purposes.
